Kody S. Garza

Kody S. Garza was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to Austin, Texas when he was very young. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Kody had known from a young age that he wanted to become a lawyer so that he could advocate for those in need. So, while still in school, Kody took up volunteer opportunities, including assisting low-income individuals with housing disputes.

Kody continued to enjoy the heat, barbeque, and local music that Austin is known for until it was time to expand his horizons in Wisconsin. Kody attended Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee and graduated in 2013. During his time at Marquette, Kody continued to volunteer, devoting his time to public interest organizations. Shortly after graduation, Kody returned to Austin, obtained his Texas law license, and practiced in the real estate field.

Although Kody may have been born in Texas, Wisconsin is where he made a home. Kody returned to Wisconsin and worked at a large personal injury firm before joining Gabert, Williams, Konz & Lawrynk, LLP. Kody saw an opportunity to advocate for those in Northeast Wisconsin, which is why Kody focuses on family law issues, real estate matters, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury claims and contract violations.
